Composer Sirpy To Launch His Son As A Hero In Palli Paruvathile
Updated : February 14, 2017 01:18 PM ISTVasudev Bhaskar, after a hiatus is back with a bang. The director is all prepped to film his next titled, Palli Paruvathile, which is on a school subject. However, the important news is that the film will have a fresh face and that beginner is none other than music composer, Sirpy’s son Nandhan Ram who will mark his debut as a hero. Venba, who acted as a child artiste in Kattradhu Tamizh is essaying will be the heroine of this film.
Talking about his new project to the Deccan Chronicle, Vasudev says, “The story is based on my real school experiences while I was studying at Iluppai Thoppu Secondary School in Aambalapattu, in Tanjore. It is basically a rom-com with a twist in it. I can’t reveal much about the story now. I was very studious till the 9th grade and because of my passion towards cinema, I performed poorly in my 10th grade. I dreamt of shooting in my school one day and it has come true now!”
KS Ravikumar will be seen essaying the role of Vasu’s teacher, Sarangan. Other casts include actress Urvashi, who will be seen playing a significant role. Vasudev’s other prominent projects include Meendum Oru Kadhal Kadhai, he also produced Arun Vijay’s Veda. AR Rahman will be scoring the music for the film.
