Atlee Talks About Vijay’s Role in ‘Theri’

The makers of Vijay’s 59th film recently released the first look of the film along with the title. The film has been titled ‘Theri’ and the first look posters are doing rounds on the internet. The title has caught the attention of many people. In a recent interview, director Atlee told why he chose the title and talked about other things from the movie.

When asked that why the title ‘Theri’ was finalised for the flick, he replied, that people will get the title only after watching the film. He said that the team had three titles in mind and ‘Theri’ was the most apt one. He added that people, who have seen the sparkling first look of the flick, would agree that it is the correct title.

The Puli actor has played the role of a cop in many of his films. But the director reveals that in his movie Vijay will be playing an emotional cop. He will be playing a powerful and rough cop, but will be driven by emotions. The director is currently canning some major portions of the film in Goa along with the team. Amy Jackson is also part of the Goa schedule. The makers are planning to release the film on Pongal.
