Akshay Kumar To Join ‘2.0’ From March

Rajinikanth is currently shooting for his upcoming film ‘Kabali’. He will soon resume the shooting of ‘Enthiran’ sequel ‘2.0’. He will soon be joined by Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar, who is all set to make his Kollywood debut with this film.

According to reports, the Bollywood action star will join the sets of the S. Shankar directorial from March. He will begin to work for his role in the flick from next week. It is being said that he will play the baddie in the sequel. Arnold Schwarzenegger was earlier linked with the role of the antagonist, but somehow things did not work out between the director and the Hollywood star.

The big budgeted project is being bankrolled under Lyca Productions. Reports suggest that the science fiction film will hit the theater screens on Pongal, 2017. British beauty Amy Jackson plays the female lead in the film which will have music by A. R. Rahman.
