Spiderman: Far From Home Review: Teenage Dilemma Captured With Perfection, Mid Credit Scene Walks Away With The Cake!
Well, by now all the hardcore Marvel fans know that Tony Stark is no more. It is also well known to us that he had an affinity towards the friendly neighbourhood kid, Spiderman, whose loss he was ruing the most after Avengers: Infinity War . There would only be the stone-hearted who had not been moved by the last few scenes of Avengers: Endgame where we could see Tony finally taking his ‘rest’. Spiderman: Far From Home starts right where it had stopped last time. We are introduced a world without Tony Stark and Iron Man, a world that is in need of a ‘legacy’ and that is looking forward to Peter Parkar for answers.
The beauty of Spiderman: Far From Home lies in the fact that even though the premise looks gloomy, it does not take that turn entirely. Yes, like Peter himself, probably all of us are missing Tony Stark, but we need to push ourselves and move on. The film, rather going all the way too serious and grim, becomes actually about the turmoil of a teenager between leading a normal life and taking the responsibility of being a superhero- a turmoil that had characterized Peter Parkar through all the Spiderman films even before Tom Holland became the web-knitting superhero (we can probably relate to why Tony Stark always loved him, because he had this very turmoil in his head all the time). He wants to enjoy a vacation without the worries of having to save the world, but is intercepted by, no points for guessing, bad guys!
When we talk of a MCU film, let us just cut the action sequences because, you know, everything is a potential spoiler. So I would stick to strictly what the trailer promised the film would be about- can Spider Man step up and fill the void. Well, that answer is just as unclear as ever, but we do know that this time, Peter Parkar has amped up his game and once again, he has a new costume and a cool new pair of glasses that he has inherited from Tony Stark.
The film will give you enough hoot-worthy moments, but even in the midst of the action sequence, MCU does what it does best- put ample drops of humour to keep you even more engaged. But, but, but, it is handsdown the mid credit scene that would walk away with the cake. Yes, this one had one of the most amazing mid credit, and post credit scene too, that can just simply blow your mind!
Spiderman: Far From Home is a fun watch. You would feel for Peter and his dilemma and his continuous strive to become a responsible superhero, to fill the void. That is a big responsibility for a kid, but we all know special the friendly neighbourhood Spidey is!
