Ashiesh Roy Dies In Mumbai Due To Kidney Failure
Updated : November 24, 2020 06:39 PM ISTPopular TV actor Ashiesh Roy who worked in popular daily soaps like Banegi Apni Baat, Sasural Simar Ka and Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi passed away on Monday evening due to kidney failure at his residence in Mumbai. The actor had been suffering with kidney related ailments all through the months of the lockdown.
TV actress Tina Ghai confirmed the news of Asheish’s death to ETimes and revealed that there have been issues in acquiring the late actor’s death certificate since he died at home.
The security guard of the actor who lived in a Jogeshwari based apartment in Mumbai told the publication, "Ashiesh saab died at 3.45 am last night. His servant came running down and said he had a couple of big hiccups and collapsed. Unka health problem toh chal hi raha tha but the servant said he was quite okay yesterday. In fact, he was supposed to undergo a dialysis today, too. "
Ashiesh Roy had faced a major financial crisis during the lockdown while he was admitted in a Mumbai based hospital for dialysis. The actor had put up a Facebook post seeking help after he used up his savings of Rs. 2 lakhs for his treatment and was forced to leave the hospital.
The actor had during an interview confessed he was in need for a kindey transplant. Talking about his financial situation Asheish had told Times Of India, “Slowly all my money is getting over and I think very soon I will have to stop my dialysis because I will be left with no money. The doctors have informed me that the excess water from my body has been removed but my kidneys have been damaged and for my body to function I need a kidney transplant.”
