Kundali Bhagya Actor Manit Joura Tests Positive For COVID-19, Reveals He Has 'Sore Throat, Heavy Head And Slight Fever'

COVID-19 pandemic is far from being over. Just when people thought that the virus is dying down and it would slowly go away with the emergence of the vaccine, it is coming back, even if not with its full force. The celebrities seem to be affected, with the number of cases soaring up in Mumbai. Last week, many celebs admitted to having tested positive for the virus. Now, yet another TV celeb has been affected and it is none other than Kundali Bhagya actor Manit Joura.

Manit has tested positive for the virus and has confirmed the news himself. Talking to ETimes, he said, “I got myself tested for COVID-19 and received the report around 12.30 pm. I woke up with a heavy head and slight fever. However, I didn’t think too much about it. I realised that something was amiss when my head started spinning after a while. I dialled my doctor, who suggested I get tested for COVID-19 and quarantine myself. Unfortunately, the test came back positive. I don’t have any major symptoms except for a sore throat, heavy head and slight fever.”

He has been following the norms and has quarantined himself at home. He added, “My first call went to the production team to inform them that I have tested positive. While I was more worried about the show, wondering how they would manage the track without me, they were more concerned about my health. The team has been very supportive. They told me to take care of myself and not worry about anything else.”

Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin stars Neil Bhatt and Aishwarya Sharma, along with a crew member of the show have also recently tested positive for the virus. We hope that they get well soon!
