Sanjivani 2 Star Rohit Roy To Re-Enter The Show; Says ‘I Will Be Back Soon With A Bang’

Medical drama Sanjivani is undoubtedly one of the most interesting and watched series on Indian television. Featuring Surbhi Chandna and Namit Khanna in lead roles, it is a rebooted version of the 2002 series of the same name. Recently, makers revealed that Mohnish Bahl, who played an important role in both the series, will not be a part of the show anymore as his character is being stretched. Pretty soon, rumors of another character exiting the show started doing the round.

According to social media buzz, antagonist Rohit Roy’s track was also ended. However, in a recent chat with HT, the actor denied the news and shared, “My character was the villain and after he was exposed in the show, there was no point in hanging around. After the news that Mohnish Bahl quit, the same was assumed the same for me as well. Perhaps, because I thanked fans in an Instagram post, people thought that I was leaving the show. I am not. I will be back soon with a bang. There is a leap in the storyline and my character will re-enter to create drama. Had I hung around, the audiences who love my character would have been bored and I definitely don’t want them to be bored of the role.”

Interestingly, Sanjivani will be taking a 3 year long leap and actor Gaurav Chopra will be introduced as a parallel lead very soon.
