Back in May this year, Sourabh Raaj Jain jetted off to Cape Town, South Africa to participate in the 11th season of Rohit Shetty’s Khatron Ke Khiladi. The actor, who is known and adored for his work in shows like Mahakali and Mahabharat, began his own little series called ‘Fear Factor Diaries’ on social media where he told his fans all about the stunts he participated in. When the show finally premiered on television, Sourabh won hearts with his dedication. He didn’t abort any stunt, nor did he fail at any task. So it was a surprise when he was eliminated from the stunt reality show last night.

For the uninitiated, Mahekk Chahal and Anushka Sen were already in the bottom two. Sourabh, on the other hand, was chosen by Arjun Bijlani for the elimination stunt because of a special power that the latter possessed. While Rahul Vaidya felt it was a good technique to get rid of competition, Abhinav Shukla and Shweta Tiwari called it unfair. Well, fans couldn’t have agreed more. Social media is currently flooding with tweets slamming the makers as well as Arjun for Sourabh’s ‘unfair elimination’. The actor’s wife Ridhima also took to her official handle to ask the audience if they felt the elimination was justified. Take a look:

undefined src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" >#SourabhRaajJain left the show just because #Arjunbijlani choose him for elimination stunt. He could have choose weak contestants. Not liking Arjun

And Rahul was happy BB mn to game khaili ni gae idr khailni hai.#KhatronKeKhiladi
undefined src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" >and come back to the show again with makers wish. and there is also a point of mental preparation. The person who gets fear fanda prepares her/himself mentally for elimination task. But in this case sourabh was totally unaware and had to do this.#SourabhRaajJain #KKK11

A while ago, Arjun took to his social media handle to respond to a tweet calling his decision wrong. He wrote: “I won the k medal to be saved from the elimination stunt .. later the twist was I have to choose someone. So I did that . When Souraub was eliminated I knew a lot of people will find it unfair . I truly wished he hadn’t .But yes u have a right to have an opinion.”
In your opinion, was Sourabh’s elimination fair?
