According to a report in Spotboye, Ekta’s legal team has called the notice baseless and has claimed that Hindustani Bhau is misleading the public. A statement in the report reads: “The notice is completely frivolous and baseless. And based on misrepresentation of facts and ignores the correct factual and legal position. Your client is misleading the public at large, authorities and causing public nuisance. The videos uploaded by your client are insulting, harassing, provoking, misleading, abusive, derogatory, frivolous, slanderous and defamatory. Your client is put to strict notice of the same. Our client will not succumb to any illegal demand of your client.”

Replying to the same, Bhau told Spotboye that they clearly don’t respect the Indian Army. He stated, “By removing the illicit video and re-uploading the edited video, they have proven it themselves that they have prima facie admitted to their crime, however, they are still shameless to not issue an apology to the Indian Army.” He added that an FIR has already been registered against Ekta Kapoor and others in Indore and he is now waiting for the Mumbai police for similar prompt action.
His advocate Ali Kaashif Khan added that if no action is taken, they will file a private complaint against Ekta and others at the Magistrate court. He said, “We have enemies inside our country only, we don't need outsiders.”
