Disha Parmar on Bade Acche Lagte Hain 2: ‘I believe it was meant to be’

Television actress Disha Parmar began her journey in the world of entertainment back in 2012 with the show Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara, opposite Nakuul Mehta. The soap successfully aired for two years and the chemistry of the lead pair was a hit! Well, after 7 long years, Disha and Nakuul have now reunited on-screen once again for Ekta Kapoor’s Bade Acche Lagte Hain 2. The first episode premiered on TV yesterday and fans are already in love with the new Ram and Priya.

In a recent interview with IANS, Disha expressed her excitement about her new project. She was quoted saying, “It is a delight for me to be a part of this show. To be honest, I am nervous and excited as it's a big responsibility to do justice to such an iconic character and yet it is an opportunity for me to prove my mettle as an actor.” The actress went on to add, “This show couldn't have come to me at a better time. I believe it was meant to be. I hope to do my best and garner the audience's love and admiration.”

Just last month, Disha tied the nuptial knot with her singer boyfriend Rahul Vaidya. Within 15 days of their marriage, the actress was on set shooting for the new project. In the show, Disha is portraying the role of a 32 year old woman who belongs to a middle-class family.
