Varun Dhawan Opens Up About His Wedding Plans With Natasha Dalal, And It Might Actually Happen This Year

Ever since 2018, there have been speculations that Varun Dhawan is all set to tie the knot. In fact, rumours were doing the rounds that the Dhawans have booked a palace in Rajasthan and a wedding, or at least the engagement, might be on the cards in December. However, nothing of that sort happened. But now, the Coolie No. 1 has himself opened up about it.

Talking to Filmfare magazine, he addressed the question around his wedding with Natasha Dalal head on. Varun said, “Everyone is talking about this (his marriage) for the last two years. There is nothing concrete right now. There is so much uncertainty in the world right now, but if things settle down (COVID and its impact), then maybe this year. I mean… I am planning for it definitely soon. But let there be more certainty.”

Whoa, that means he is actually all set to get hitched and it is the situation around the pandemic that is holding him back! Well, we hope that the wedding happens soon, because fans are waiting to witness it. Like Varun-Natasha, Richa Chadda and Ali Fazal were also set to tie the knot last year but the plans were deferred due to the pandemic. The same was the case for Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. This just means that once the situation normalises, quite a few celebrity weddings are waiting to happen!
