Talking to Times Now, the cook said that he was sacked not by Sushant himself but by Rhea. He also said that nothing seemed different until Sushant and Rhea were back from their Europe holiday. He said, "Never saw her (Rhea) taking control of him until the Europe trip post which Sushant started falling sick. In the early stages, we were told it's dengue but now I am coming to know that he was down with depression." He also said that Rhea sacked him after he had gone to visit his native place and he learnt it later. He also added that Sushant had once told him that he will leave the industry after Chhichhore.
Sushant was to do a film with Rumi Jaffery alongside Rhea Chakraborty and had promised his friend Sandip Ssingh that he will be a part of his first directorial, Bande Bharatam.
