Updated : December 02, 2021 07:11 PM ISTSunny Deol’s son Karan Deol who made his debut in 2018 is all set for his second Bollywood film to release. The star-kid will be seen in the film Velle where he collaborates with his uncle Abhay Deol for the first time. Ahead of the movie’s release this month, Karan joined his grandfather Dharmendra at an event where he spoke about how he doesn’t think acting begins in the gym.
Speaking at an event organized by News 18, Karan while speaking of how he has been influenced by his grandfather said, “If he did not get up to chase his dream, I would not be here. I owe my life to him. I have learnt that perseverance and hard work matter the most in life. We are all a happy family. Comparisons are natural but one should not be weighed down. I am a mixture of my family.”

Defining what acting means to him the 31-year-old added, “I feel, acting is about emotions and responding. For me, acting does not start in the gym. You feel, observe and react. We are so fortunate to get to play characters we are not in real lives in this profession. Acting for me isn’t in the gym. It is about understanding the story and the graph of the character."
Dharmendra added to Karan’s response and reflected on his own journey saying that he never learnt acting and how he also stresses on the importance of self analysis and responsibility to Karan.
