Rajan Shahi Is ‘Deeply Shocked’ With Samir's Suicide

Samir Sharma passed away by suicide in his Mumbai apartment. His body was found hanging from the kitchen ceiling and there was no suicide note left. The actor was part of many successful TV shows and Bollywood films.
After Sushant Singh Rajput, this is another tragedy that has stuck B’Town. Actors Siddharth Malhotra, Varun Dhawan and many others took to their social media to mourn the loss of the actor.
Producer Rajah Shahi who worked with the actor in yeh Rishtey Hai Pyaar Ke too is in a state of disbelief about the sudden death of the actor.
In an official statement, he stated, "Deeply shocked to know about the untimely demise of Sameer, it is a painful and a sad news for all of us. My deepest condolences goes to the entire family members and I hope God gives them strength in these difficult times. Though I have not interacted with him much, I always found him to be very well- spoken, articulate, kept to himself and was always extremely professional in his approach. Everyone in the unit had good words to speak about him. Today, I visited the sets of 'Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke' to speak to all the actors and they were all extremely shocked I understand that from the team that he was excited and happy about resuming shoot of 'Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke' in August. So, it’s an extremely painful news for us, we all are praying for the departed soul and prayers for the family in these difficult times".
