Rekha's Bungalow Sealed By BMC After Her Security Guard Tests Positive For COVID-19: Reports

Mumbai remains one of the worst affected cities by the COVID-19 pandemic and Bollywood’s veteran star Rekha is the latest celebrity to have a COVID-19 case reported at home. Her bungalow in Bandra has been sealed by the BMC according to recent reports.

Rekha lives close to the Bandstand in Bandra in her home called Sea Springs and two security guards are always at her gate. One of the two is reported to be COVID-19 positive leading BMC to declare the bungalow a containment zone and seal the place after a round of sanitization.

An official notice is also pasted outside her home stating it is COVID-19 infected place.

The security personnel is undergoing treatment at a quarantine facility in BKC now. So far there’s no statement from Rekha’s end on the matter.

Just a few weeks ago actor Aamir Khan also issued a statement after a few members of his staff tested positive for COVID 19 and he and his family were tested for the virus but all tested negative. Coronavirus cases have also been reported at homes of celebrities like Boney Kapoor and Karan Johar, while societies have stars like Malaika Arora, Vicky Kaushal and others have also been sealed in the past after cases were reported in homes near them.

The total number of coronavirus cases in India has crossed the 8 lakh mark.
