Om Raut On His Action Film With Kartik Aaryan: “We May Have To Wait For Some Time, But It Will Surely Happen”

After winning hearts with his performance in romantic films and comedy masterpieces, Kartik Aaryan had announced his first 3D action thriller with Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior director Om Raut earlier this year. The actor was super excited about the project, which was supposed to go on floors later this year and would reportedly be shot in India and various locations abroad. However, it was put on hold due to the coronavirus pandemic. Well recently Raut announced his next film Adipurush with South superstar Prabhas and soon enough rumors began doing the rounds about Kartik’s film being shelved.

In a chat with Mid-Day, the director put all these rumors to rest by stating, “We have envisioned the film in a certain way and want to shoot it in a particular country. Since it is difficult to travel abroad due to the prevailing situation, we may have to tweak the script.” Raut went on to explain that he will focus solely on the Kartik starrer once Adipurush is wrapped up. He added, “We are committed to the film. We may have to wait for some time, but it will surely happen.”

Other than the action entertainer, Kartik has two more exciting projects in his kitty. He will share the big screen with Kiara Advani in horror comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, and will also feature in Karan Johar’s romantic comedy Dostana 2 alongside Janhvi Kapoor and Laksh Lalwani.
