Mrunal Thakur opens up on working with Ishaan in Pippa after Shahid Kapoor’s Jersey; calls it a ‘beautiful coincidence’

The gorgeous Mrunal Thakur is currently soaring high on the success of her recent release Toofaan, co-starring Farhan Akhtar. Fans have fallen in love with her character and are eagerly waiting for her next film. Well, Mrunal has some really exciting projects in the pipeline at the moment, including Jersey with Shahid Kapoor. While Shahid will play the role of a cricketer in the film, the actress will portray his on-screen wife. Interestingly, in her next film Pippa, Mrunal will share the screen with Shahid’s brother Ishaan Khatter.

In a recent interview with Spotboye, the beauty opened up about working with the two handsome brothers. She was quoted saying, “The beautiful thing is that I feel like I have worked with the entire family. I have worked with Supriya Pathak ji in Toofaan, with Pankaj Kapur sir and Shahid in Jersey and now with Ishaan in Pippa. It’s just a beautiful coincidence.” Mrunal went on to share that whenever Shahid and she spoke about Ishaan, they always discussed how talented he is.

Well, Mrunal can’t wait to work with Ishaan because she feels the energy he imparts is amazing. Based on India's role in the wake of Bangladesh liberation war of 1971, Pippa is being helmed by Airlift fame director Raja Krishna Menon.
