Kareena Kapoor On Angrezi Medium: Was Greedy About Working With Irrfan, Having Worked With All Other Khans

One of the most gorgeous and talented stars of Bollywood, Kareena Kapoor Khan is one of those few actresses who has worked with almost all the big Khans of the Hindi film industry. Well, she is all set to check another celeb off the list with her next film Angrezi Medium, slated to hit theatres on 13^th March. Much to the delight of fans, the beauty will finally share the big screen with one of the finest actors of the industry, Irrfan Khan.

In a recent chat with Mumbai Mirror, Bebo revealed what convinced her to do the much-awaited film. She shared, “I love doing different roles and I have never really weighed a part based on its length. For me, what's important is that I should be willing to be a part of the film. Saif (Ali Khan, actor-husband) was shooting in London and Taimur and I were there with him for two months. Homi (Adajania, director) wanted to shoot with me for just 10 days and I thought, 'why not'. I was greedy about working with Irrfan (Khan, co-actor), having worked with all the other Khans. The film would tick off another item on my bucket list. Also, I'd never played a cop before, so I took up the offer. Moreover, I loved Hindi Medium and felt it deserved to be spun into a franchise, unlike most franchises today.”

Opening up about her experience of working with the actor for the first time, Kareena stated, “He's extremely professional and a fantastic guy. He brings so much respectability to every character around him just by being in the frame. He was all there, looking great and acting amazingly well.”

The actress also spoke about her much-awaited film Laal Singh Chaddha with Aamir Khan and said, “I have seen Forrest Gump at least 10 times. Robin Wright's role in it is beautiful, and I just had to be a part of this adaptation. It is going to be one of my best films. It's a very different space for me, but I can't talk much about it at the moment. All I can say is that working with Aamir is beyond spectacular.”

Talking about her future projects, Bebo cleared the air about working with Shah Rukh Khan in Rajkumar Hirani’s next and revealed that she has not signed any film with him yet.
