Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan's old Fortune Heights apartment rented out for Rs. 3.5 lakhs per month

Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan have moved into their new and bigger apartment before the arrival of their second son Jeh earlier this year. The couple has now reportedly rented out their old apartment which is based in Fortune Heights in Bandra.

According to a report in Money Control, Saif and Kareena have rented out the sprawling 1500 square ft. apartment with two parking spaces for Rs. 3.5 lakhs a month. According to a rent agreement accessed by Indextap.com the property has been rented to a firm for a period of three years with a security deposit of Rs. 15 lakhs. The rent on the property will appreciate every year as per the agreement which was signed on August 13.

Kareena and Saif lived together in their old Fortune Heights apartment ever since they got married in 2012 and are deeply attached to the place. The property is valued between Rs. 12 to 14 crores. They moved into their new home in January 2021 when Kareena was 8 months pregnant with son Jeh.

The couple and their two sons Jeh and Taimur are currently in the Maldives on a vacation. The family rang in Saif Ali Khan’s 51st birthday there on August 17.
