Jee Le Zaraa: Desi tweeps want to see male superstars in supporting roles in Farhan's all girls road trip film; See real expectations
Jee Le Zaraa: Desi tweeps get real with their expecations
Updated : August 10, 2021 11:32 PM ISTFarhan Akhtar is preparing to direct Alia Bhatt, Priyanka Chopra and Katrina Kaif in a road trip film and this announcement came on the special occasion of 20 years of Dil Chahta Hai. Titled Jee Le Zaraa this project already has high expectations to meet given the cult status of Farhan’s debut starring Aamir Khan, Saif Ali Khan and Akshaye Khanna and Zoya Akhtar’s Zindagi Naa Milegi Dobaraa which starred Farhan, Hrithik Roshan and Abhay Deol.
The leading ladies of Jee Le Zaraa have already expressed their feeling about the project on social media but the expectations the netizens have are on a whole other level. Desi tweeps are already taking this all-girls road trip very seriously and while there’s still a lot of time for Jee Le Zaraa to go on floors, there are some very real scenarios that the netizens imagine the film addressing.
Right from wanting to see some leading male Bollywood stars in supporting roles to voicing real issues with road trips for girls, netizens really seem to be eyeing an empowering women-centric watch here. Check out some tweets here -
What would be great is to see male superstars being cast as supporting actors. I wouldn’t mind watching #HrithikRoshan, #RanbirKapoor and #ShahRukhKhan… just putting it out there. #JeeLeZaraa ??

A cast like never before! I’m so excited. But there sure is a lot of pressure and expectations with it. @FarOutAkhtar @aliaa08 #KatrinaKaif @priyankachopra #JeeLeZaraa. Hoping it doesn’t end up becoming a cliche or a movie version of Four More Shots Please. ?

@FarOutAkhtar @aliaa08 @tigerbabyfilms The lack of creativity is astounding Even the name is rehashed I hope it's more than 3 successful women with problems in a car that reach a hasty resolution as they see gorgeous psychological pitstops Do more #mainstreambollywood #JeeLeZaraa

@FarOutAkhtar I can already picture #JeeLeZaraa's opening scene featuring three adult leads getting a lecture on road and travel safety before permission to the trip? https://t.co/dfcdsuICk1

The movie should include a scene where one of these girls first have to take permission from their parents to go on a road trip!!!#JeeLeZaraa @aliaa08 @priyankachopra @FarOutAkhtar
