Ganapath: Big B to play Tiger Shroff’s on-screen father?

The two have reportedly reached London and will take the film on floors very soon. Fans are super excited to see them shine on the big screen together again and their deadly first looks from the film have only piqued our interest. Well, according to latest buzz, Amitabh Bachchan has been approached to play a pivotal role in this much awaited action thriller.

A report shared by Pinkvilla has revealed that the megastar has been offered the role of Tiger’s father, a former boxer. A source was quoted saying, “Tiger plays a boxer in the film, while his onscreen father too was a boxer in his earlier days. The character is an important part of the script, and the makers are keen to rope in Mr Bachchan for the role. However, they are yet to figure out the dates and the rest of the formalities. Meanwhile, a major portion of the film will be shot in the UK, and Tiger and Kriti both have reached London. The shoot is expected to go on for around two months.”

If things work out, Ganapath will mark Tiger’s first film with Amitabh Bachchan. Currently, Bollywood’s Shahenshah is busy hosting the 13th season of popular game show Kaun Banega Crorepati. On the film front, Big B has many exciting projects in his kitty including Jhund, Brahmāstra, Good Bye, Uunchai and Mayday amongst others.
