Freddy: Alaya F to share the screen with Kartik Aaryan in the romantic thriller? Here’s what we know

Kartik Aaryan’s next film Freddy has been making headlines for quite some time now. Earlier this year rumors had suggested that the actor walked out of the project. However, it was later clarified that Kartik is still a part of the film whereas director Ajay Bahl has parted ways with the project. Freddy is now being helmed by Veere Di Wedding director Shashanka Ghosh and is being co-produced by Ekta Kapoor. The film went on floors on 1^st August in Mumbai and Kartik expressed his excitement about bringing the dark romantic thriller to life.

Well, according to the latest report shared by ETimes, the beautiful Alaya F is being considered to play the female lead opposite Kartik in Freddy. A few modalities are being worked on before she signs the project, but she has apparently been a part of the film since day 1. The report further suggests that the young actress was over the moon with joy when she was offered the meaty character in the romantic thriller. The makers feel that Alaya fits the role perfectly!

Alaya left the audience pleasantly surprised when she made a smashing debut with Saif Ali Khan’s 2020 film Jawaani Jaaneman. Her expressions were on point and she shined like a natural on the big screen. The young star recently bagged her second film, a remake of U-Turn, which is also backed by Ekta. It’s going to be a pretty busy year for her!
