Abhinav Shukla never made Rubina Dilaik feel insecure, but actress felt there are better women for him

Before entering the Bigg Boss 14 house last year, Rubina Dilaik and Abhinav Shukla had to answer media questions while they shared the stage with host Salman Khan. They were asked about rumors which implied that they were having problems in their marriage. The actor admitted that the pandemic and the subsequent lockdown was a stressful time, but they moved on from that. Later in the season during a task, Rubina broke down and revealed that they were headed for a divorce and had given each other time till November to save the relationship.

In a recent chat with radio host Siddharth Kannan, Rubina admitted that she felt insecure about her relationship with Abhinav. She shared, “Insecurity aapko khud ko lekar hoti hai na ki ho sakta hai (You have internal insecurities where you feel that maybe) I am not good enough ya ho sakta hai (or maybe) that there are far better women out there for him. Mujh mein shayad yeh kami hogi, shayad yeh shortcoming hai which is why the relationship is not working.”

Rubina went on to state that in such a case, one finds reasons to beat themselves down. She explained, “You find other opportunities, people or maybe girls out there that you feel are far beautiful, far competent, far deserving to have a man like him. These insecurities spill in and reflect on how you conduct, behave and react to situations. So, those insecurities… He has never made me feel insecure.”

The couple came out stronger from the BB house and admitted that the show helped save their marriage. Rubina and Abhinav are in a much better place today. We wish them all the happiness in the world and a lifetime of togetherness!
