Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chadha Might Include The Coronavirus Pandemic
Aamir's Laal Singh Chaddha To Show COVID-19 Pandemic
Updated : June 10, 2020 02:02 PM ISTLaal Singh Chaddha is one of the most awaited films of Aamir Khan. The movie is based on the pseudo-historic epic that takes a look at the landmark happenings in India since the country’s partition into two countries in 1947, as seen through the eyes of a Sikh individual which is played by Aamir Khan.
The film is also said to be the Indian version of Tom Hanks 1994 American film Forrest Gump. The film is being helmed by Advait Chauhan.
And now according to a Bollywood Hungama report, the film will also incorporate the coronavirus pandemic in the screenplay. The portal reported the plot would now be expanded to include the current global crisis without which the narrative would remain unhappily inadequate. A source told Bollywood Hungama, “It is self-evident that a film on the important historical happenings cannot be complete without communicating the Corona crisis. The shooting that is now halted would resume once the lockdown is over, with fresh inputs in the screenplay.”
Aamir Khan plays a Sikh Sardarji for the first time. Kareena Kapoor Khan plays his wife. And it would be safe to assume that the Coronavirus will play the villain. Reportedly, Aamir also lost 20 kilos to play the younger version of his title role of Laal Singh Chaddha. The movie is directed by Advait Chandan of Secret Superstar” fame and written by Atul Kulkarni. The actor will also co-produce the Hindi adaptation along with Viacom18 Motion Pictures.
Aamir has last seen in ‘Thugs Of Hindostan’ with Amitabh Bachchan and Katrina Kaif in 2019.
