5 Bollywood Films Of 2018 That We Will Be Complaining About Even 10 Years From Now
Updated : December 24, 2018 05:54 PM ISTWe simply can say it enough number of time that 2018 was a great year for cinema. While it is a year that would surely be remembered for amazing contents in films like Raazi, Stree or Andhdhun, it is also a year that would known for the great Khan fiasco.
To be honest, there were a couple of films that were so bad that it will take us a while to get over them and we will probably be complaining about them even 10 years from now.
Thugs of Hindostan
What could be worse than the most expensive Hindi film in the history of Hindi film industry turned out to be the biggest disappointment? What was even unfortunate was the fact that Amitabh and Aamir decided to collaborate first time in a project in which they looked like they were intentionally trying to be bad. In years to come, Thugs, also thanks to the deluge of memes, will be remembered as the film that sucked the joy out of the Diwali a little.
Zero
Boy oh boy, this was a toughie. When even the biggest Shah Rukh fan finds it difficult to sit through a film, you know history has been made, surely not in a good way. Zero was a disaster of such epic proportion that it will take a while for people to erase it from their minds.
Aiyaary
With films like A Wednesday and Baby, Neeraj Pandey had made a special place for himself among audiences. Especially, his collaboration with Manoj Bajpai has been always applauded, thus no one expected them to make a ridiculous snoozefest like Aiyaary. I will really take us years of cribbing to get over the horrendous experience that was Aiyaary.
Welcome To New York
Almost half of Hindi film industry made a cameo in the film that barely qualified to tagged as one. The sheer mindlessness of the whole project was baffling, to be honest. No wonder, it registered one of the lowest collections that any film with known and mainstream Bollywood stars have made. Just so you know, the film collected 3 lakhs at the box-office.
Namaste England
Why would Vipul Amrutlal Shah do this to the fond memories of Namastey London is beyond us. The Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra was as bizarre as it was boring. The memory of the film will haunt us for a while and till then we can’t really stop us from cribbing about it.
