Abhay Deol Hits Back With Not One But Seven Films In 2018

Right from Oye Lucky Lucky Oye to Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara he has always experimented and worked with newer talents that have made his projects all the more exciting. But for tjose who think that he has been missing in action at the movies are in for a treat. We saw him in Happy Bhaag Jayegi in 2016, before which he did One By Two in 2014. But despite the gaps he’s taken in between 2018 looks like the big year for him with not one or two but seven film releases!
Naanu Ki Jaanu – The film is a dark comedy which also stars Patralekhaa and is being directed by Faraz Haider, who is marking his debut.
Happy Phir Bhag Jayegi – After the success of the 2016 film, Happy Bhag Jayegi, Abhay Deol will be seen in the sequel of the film too, that also stars Sonakshi Sinha apart from Diana Penty from the first film.
JL 50 – A sci-fi film where Abhay will be seen playing a CBI detective. The film is shot in Kolkata and is already in post-production. The film also stars Piyush Mishra and Pankaj Kapur .
The Field – It is the actor’s first international project, where he’ll be seen playing a cop and it is an Indian Canadian collaboration. The film will also star Shamata Anchan, who was seen in Ashutosh Gowarikar’s TV show Everest and also Hollywood star Brendan Fraser who was seen in The Mummy.
Bounty Hunter – The film is Abhay Deol’s production and is a thriller set in the UK. The film is long delayed and is anticipated to release this year.
Zero – The actor will be seen playing Katrina Kaif ’s love interest in the film which is helmed by Shah Rukh Khan , and also stars Anushka Sharma .
Idhu Vedhalam Sollum Kadhai – The film is set to be his Tamil Debut which he has also co-produced. The film is in production since mid-2016 and Abhay Deol will be seen playing King Vikramaditya in the fantasy drama.
