5 Bollywood Actors Who Had An Arranged Marriage After A Break Up!

Breakup and rebounds in the high life of Bollywood celebrities is nothing very unique, but there are certain Bollywood affairs that gave us major relationship goals and when those celebs parted ways it gave their fans a major heart break and today are happily married to somebody else! Some stars who after having an unlucky hand at relationships moved on had an arranged marriage, according to the wishes of their parents! Here are 5 arranged marriages that happened after a break up!

Karishma Kapoor – It is said that Karishma fell seriously in love with Abhishek Bachchan and it was likewise from the other side! This was back in 1997 and soon the world came to know about their love affair. In 2002, on Big B’s birthday the lovebirds even got engaged! But it wasn’t a smooth ride there after! Their relationship broke off after differences arose between the two families and the engagement was called off!

Karishma later married Delhi based industrialist, Sanjay Kapoor in 2003! Karishma’s marriage was arranged by her parents and she had two children with Sanjay. The marriage although failed to last as they couple filed for a divorce with mutual consent, in 2014!

Madhuri Dixit – Madhuri was in a much talked about affair with actor Sanjay Dutt! Their fondness each other grew on the setsof the film Saajan, Sanjay was a married man and Madhuri’s father objected to the relationship. His then wife Richa Sharma was undergoing cancer treatment and Madhuri apparently became Sajay’s shoulder to cry on. But then his criminal records that came up and his visit to jail blew off the relationship!

Madhuri later married Dr. Shriram Madhav Nene, a cardiovascular surgeon from Los Angeles, California in 1999. The marriage was arranged by her parents and today she is happily married to the doctor with two children!

Shahid Kapoor – Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor were head over heels in love with one another for a while. The relationship lasted a little over four years even after the duo had not much in common. They were co stars who met on the sets of Fida and soon started dating. There were even speculations that they might have gotten married but they broke off during the time of Jab We Met in 2007. Kareena found love in actor Saif Ali Khan and married him in 2012.

Shahid in the meanwhile after a few other failed relationships like Priyanka Chopra, got married to a Delhi based student, Mira Rajput who was the choice of his parents! They got married in 2015 in a closed ceremony in Gurgaon. They recently became proud parents of a baby girl they named Misha!

Vivek Oberoi – Who can forget the spat Vivek Oberoi got himself into for dating Aishwarya Rai. His romance with the actress was short lived and he had to endure a lot to stand by this relationship! His ugly spat with Salman Khan is unforgettable, but unfortunately neither of the actors got the lovely lady!

Vivek got married to Priyanka Alva the daughter of Karnatak minister Jeevaraj Alva in 2010. The marriage was an arranged one but Vivek is happy with his partner! They are proud parents of two kids now!

Neil Nithin Mukesh – The latest to join the league is actor Neil Nithin Mukesh, who had earlier quiet publicly proclaimed his fondness for actress Sonal Cauhan. He even said her wanted to get married to her! But Sonal denied any decision of a marriage between them and the relationship also did not stand the test of time!

Neil recently got engaged to a Mumbai based girl Rukmini Sahay according to his parents’ wishes! Rukmini belongs to the aviation industry and their families know each other well. Neil will tie the knot next year!
