Remember Little Jia From Kal Ho Na Ho? This Is How She Looks Now!

It’s been nearly 13 years since Kal Ho Na Ho hit the theatres and made us weep out hearts out! Our love for the film remains as consistent as it ever was but the cast that was a part of this beautiful film had definitely gone way ahead in life. Remember the youngest member of the film, baby Jia Kapur? Well, we are certain you do! The adorable young girl Jhanak Shukla is now all grown up!

Jhanak, who shot to fame after playing a robot Karishma in the TV show, Karishma Ka Karishma is now all grown up! She is the daughter of actress Supriya Shukla and documentary film maker Haril Shukla and is now 20 years old!!

She was also offered a significant role in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Black! Jhanak refused the offer as it would be time consuming! In 2006 she did another film Deadline: Sirf 24 Ghante that also starred Konkona Sen Sharma and Rajit Kapoor.

She later quit acting as she wanted to concentrate on her studies. She last did the TV show Sonpari for which she shot for six months only.

She did not to pursue her career in acting and stated in an interview that she actually got fed up of it!

She appeared in one episode of Gumrah when she was in the 10^th standard because her mother’s friend was directing it! But that was it for her! She did her Bachelors degree in Arts and expressed her wish to become a social activist and start an NGO to help oppressed women.

She may have chosen to opt out of acting but we really miss her on screen!
