10 Bollywood Debuts That Never Happened!

Crucial to every actor’s career is the first project they sign. While some land into Bollywood with really grand opening projects some have to struggle with them. It is extremely necessary to make the right choice to mark the beginning of an impactful career. Then there are some actors who had almost signed the dotted line as their first film but eventually it never happened. Here’s a actors whose debuts were to be something else than what they got!

Kareena Kapoor - She had to make her debut in Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai opposite Hrithik Roshan but after a few days of filming, she walked out of the project! 

Saif Ali Khan - The actor had signed Bekhudi as his first film but after the first schedule was laid off the project because of unprofessional attitude.

Deepika Padukone - Confusing as the fact is, Farha Khan had been working on the project Happy New Year for a while. In 2006 she wanted to sign Deepika for it, but it got shelved even if she starred later in it. 

Shahid Kapoor - The actor who made his debut with Ishq Vishq was initally offered the lead role in Style which he refused.

Priyanka Chopra - The 2002 film Humraaz was supposed to be her debut! The deal never worked due to various reasons and she was finally launched with The Hero: Love Story of a Spy.

Aishwarya Rai: The actress was offered Raja Hindustani to make her debut which she refused and later came to films with Aa Ab Laut Chalein in 1999.

Priety Zinta - She was spotted by Shekhar Kapoor at an audition and he wanted to cast her for a film called Tara Rum Pum Pum. The film never went on floor but brought Priety into films.

Diana Penty - The actress was Imtiaz Ali's first choice for Rockstar. She couldn't sign the project due to other commitments and came to films with Cocktail.

Tiger Shroff - The Heropanti actor was to be cast in a remake of his father's 1983 film Hero's remake in 2010. He wasn't convinced and made his debut with Heropanti in 2012.

Bipasha Basu - Vinod Khanna wanted to cast her opposite Akshaye Khanna in Himalay Purta in 1994. She thought herself to be too young and did not take it up. She came to films much later in 2002 with Ajnabi.
