Throw in camera at every nook and corner and boom! All your comfort turns self consciousness! While we sit leisurely in front of our TV sets enjoying their little brawls, discomforts and highlights of their day, it is completely unimaginable for us to do the same! Here are some terms of the contract apaprently -
Clause 1.2 (a) – Payment
Money is what makes BB alluring above all factors. A certain contestant received a signing amount of Rs 8 lakhs to be payable within a week of the ending of contract. This amount also happens to be minimum payment assured to the contestant in case eviction happens in the first week.
Clause 1.2 (b) – Weekly consideration
In addition to the signing money, all the contestants are paid weekly consideration but only if they are lucky to stay safe from eliminations for more than two weeks. For example, Tanishaa Mukerji’s weekly consideration amount in the 7th season was Rs 8 lakhs per week!
Clause 1.4 – Availability
All contestants are supposed to be at the beck and call of the producers (Viacom 18) for duration of 117 days, out of which 100 days are for in-house shoot and the rest of the days are for promo shoots, marketing etc.

Clause 1.7 – No interference in the matters related to editing, broadcast of content
Only the producers retain the right to broadcast the content of the show and edit it the way they would fancy. The contestants have no say in this matter whatsoever. So whether anyone is caught getting intimate on the show, only the channel can take the final call on whether to edit or show the scene.

Clause 1.9 – Identity of the housemates
No contestant is allowed to learn about who all are going to be a part of the show. It will be like dishonouring the contract on the contestant’s part.
Clause 1.10 (b) [3] – Criminal convictions have to be notified to the makers
As a rule of thumb, celebs who are slapped with criminal cases cannot enter the house. However, ex-contestants like Rahul Mahajan, Monica Bedi and Aseem Trivedi were considered for entry after they revealed the court cases pending in their name.

Clause 1.10 (b) [5] – Spiritual items/books barred from entry
The makers don’t allow any contestant to tag along spiritual content in his or her luggage. Last season, Soni Singh's religious paraphernalia was taken out of her bags.
Clause 1.11 – No talking with the media about the selection before entering the house
The contestants are not allowed to get vocal about their entry in the BB house. If such is the case , then we wonder why a few contestants from Season 8 got candid about their BB stint before the show went on air?

Clause 1.13 iii and 1.13 (a) – Fine for leaving the house
So, this means that in any case, if the contestant jumps the boundary of the BB house to go home or decides to end your journey in the show, then a fine of Rs 50 lakhs is slapped as a breach of contract.
Hats off to those those who survived it!
