This year alone Bollywood has made movies about a disgraced cricketer, a brave flight attendant, an unfortunate farmer and a homosexual professor. And the trend doesn't stop there. In fact, biopics are going to get a whole lot bigger in the coming years.

DANGAL
Aamir Khan is all set to essay the role of wrestler-coach Mahavir Phogat in the upcoming movie. For the role, Aamir has undergone extreme physical transformation and dictum training.

Diredcted by Ketan Mehta, the movie will be about one of the most revolutionary freedom fighters in modern history, Rani Lakshmi Bai. Kangana Ranaut will play the Jhansi Ki Rani in the movie that will go on floors next year.
DADDY
Arjun Rampal will assume the role of gangster turned politician Arun Gawli in this movie that will release next year.
HASSEENA: THE QUEEN OF MUMBAI
Filmmaker Apoorva Lakhia's biopic film about Dawood Ibrahim's sister Haseena will have Shraddha Kapoor in the titular role. Menawhile, it is said that Shraddha's real-life brother Siddhanth Kapoor will play the role of underworld don Dawood Ibrahim.
SANJAY DUTT BIOPIC
Ranbir Kapoor will play the role of controversial actor Sanjay Dutt in this upcoming Rjakumar Hirani movie. The movie will be produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra.
PADMAVATI
Padmavati, which will be based on the life of the Rani of Chittor in Rajasthan, will have Deepika Padukone in the titular role. THis Sanjay Leela Bhansali film will also have Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor in titular roles.
