Akira Trailer: Get Set For A Kickass, Crazy Action Ride!

AR Murugadoss is the true kingpin of violence and action in India and he’s back again! If you probably thought Akira wasn’t going to have any adrenaline pump of a hero, you should stand corrected. There’s Sonakshi Sinha and she’s the true hero as we can sense. Running over a dramatic pacey action ride, Akira’s trailer promises to take us through an extremely engaging and intriguing drive.

It is everything we expect in a Murugadoss movie, only this time it is with a female protagonist and a villain you are most likely to enjoy watching onscreen – Anurag Kashyap. Akira is a small town girl who comes to Mumbai to pursue her further studies. She’s calm, she’s focused but there’s one thing she’s hidden under the pretense, she is a badass blade who you should probably not combat with. Then there’s this corrupt cop Anurag Kashyap who by a certain turn of events meets Akira and it’s a promisingly nail biter from there on.

While you would watch the trailer in the hopes of Sonakshi blowing your minds up with action (which she does), it is Anurag Kashyap as the villain who stays with you. Some confrontational scenes, action sequences, scary moments build up altogether to possibly present an entertaining cinematic experience.

Having made movies like Holiday - A Soldier is Never off Duty and Ghajini, AR Murugadoss has the sense of what to serve Hindi audiences. There’s one element that he just can’t do without and that is action. Akira’s trailer had the pace, the style, the promise and the appeal we needed, all it needs by the end is a finely crafted package with entertainment all over it.

While you had one reason to watch the film before the trailer arrived, you now have two – Anurag Kashyap is a worthy entrant!
