12 Things to Expect from 300: Rise of an Empire
Updated : May 06, 2014 10:43 AM ISTHere are 12 things to expect from 300: Rise of an Empire. It's going to be a epic one!
1. Though we were expecting only a trailer or two, it feels like we already have seen the entire movie.
2. Outrageous amount of 'Parental Advisory.' Don't be scared if your kids go all Sparta on you. It's a highly normal behaviour.
3. Female Xerxes, Artemisia, who is looking hot and not a bummer. Xerxes is not a bummer but 300 had no booty to be very honest.
4. An empire will rise. We know it's very evident (from the movie's name) but still can be counted as an expectation. We will find out which empire will rise.
5. Ships and oceans. Sorry but we are not talking about Titanic. This time they are all ready to set water on fire!
6. An incredible voice over. Apart from the outrageous amount of ketchup that was wasted in 300, their storyteller-warrior had us hooked. We are expecting for that to happen again. 'Gods saw fit to grace him with a spare.'
7. Expect some Arcadian action. In 300, though they were trolled by King Leonidas when they could not come up with a witty profession like war, this time they might give you a killer 'hau-hau-hau.'
8. A lot of inspiration. In 300, they were only 300 gym boys and "This is Spartaaaa!" was inspirational. This time, it's going to be more than 300 so, "This is Spartaaaaaaa (raise to the power whatever value you think is appropriate)!"
9. You might expect a gym membership too. We know a lot of people who went gym-crazy after watching 300. Blame the six-pack abs of the mighty 300. Not sure if you can expect your girlfriend to be like Artemisia.
10. Dead Greeks! Artemisia is so convinced to kill the Greeks. Whatever happened to peace and humanity? Women these days!
11. A strong history lesson is something you can definitely expect. This time, it will be bloody, gory, and interesting. This is not your boring World War history. It's the Greeks and the Persians aye.
12. Expect a killer soundtrack. Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath are here to rock the bloodshed and the gore. You might enjoy that, vicariously!
