Tony is all set to play a positive role in his forthcoming film Naam which is directed by debutant Joshy Thomas. The film will see the actor playing a student named Aju. "The film is a sweet coming-of-age story of a bunch of students in a college. Everybody has a distinctive story in it. It would be my first positive character, and I am happy to say that he smiles a lot," said Tony.
The story will revolve around a boy named Aju who has done schooling from Dubai and then returns to Kerela to join a college. About his character, Luke said, “He is a loner who lost his mom at a young age. He loves travelling and keeps moving from one place to another." He further added that Aju is hesitant in the beginning and doesn’t mingle with students but gradually he opens up with them and makes best of his friends. The actor lost around 8 kg to fit into the character.
