Mamta Mohandas Jumps In As Lead Female For Kannan’s Achayans

Kannan Thamarakulam's multistarrer Achayans has a new member. The movie, which has five actors in lead, will now be joined by Mamta Mohandas. Anu Sithara is another character where they both will play protagonists.  

"Mamta and Anu will play the two heroines. Mamta's is the central character of the plot and I can't divulge her role because that would reveal the suspense of the movie. The interesting bit though is that the actresses don't play anybody's pair in the film. In fact, the heroes are also the villains in the story", said Kannan.

It’s been written by Sethu who has also earlier penned multi-starrer, to name one, Mallu Singh and Cousins. Talking about the storyline, he revealed, that the five heroes come from a Christian family and the movie walks you through their family lives. The movie is expected to go on the floor by the third week of November, where shooting will mostly take place in Kochi, Wagamon, Theni and Hyderabad.
