Anumol: ‘The whole movie itself was a different experience for me’
Updated : April 06, 2016 10:59 AM IST Bold characters have never diverted their way to Malyalam actress Anumol. But this time, she is portraying a simple character for upcoming movie ‘Amoeba’. In Manoj Kana's next film, the actress will be seen playing a mother, who is an endosulfan victim.
The actress is very excited about her role in the movie. “Through the film, the makers are trying to capture the emotional trauma of the people in the areas affected by the deadly chemical. Abhishek from the border village of Kasargode played my son. We became friends during the shoot and took selfies during the break. The whole movie itself was a different experience for me”, said the Vedivazhipadu star.
The movie is produced by Neru Films. It is a story about a woman who lives her life in fear because of endosulfan contamination. Manoj Kana shot the film in two different locations, Bangalore and esndosulfan struck Kasargodu (Kerela), to show the contrasting life of the lead. Previously, Manoj has worked with the actress in ‘Chaayilyam’, which was critically acclaimed.
