Rajshri Ponnappa: ‘I Am The Surprise Element In Rocket’

Rajshri Ponnappa, who did a cameo in Vasundhara is all set to play a prominent role in her upcoming film Rocket. Saying that this is her first commercial film, the actress also revealed that she didn’t want to be seen on the posters of the flick. The poster of the flick features Sathish Neenasam and Aishani Shetty.

Talking in the same concern, she said, “There is a reason for that and it is because I am the surprise element in the film. When Sathish approached me for this role, he said it was etched for me specifically because he wanted someone who could carry off the right attitude. I play Sathish's love interest with a different set of priorities and that brings about a twist”.

“I hear that the song Rangi Rangi has been climbing the charts and I can't wait to see what people think about the film when it releases soon”, she added. The actress who has prominently worked in South Indian films says that she is interested in acting in Bollywood now. “I have been busy with a couple of ads in Mumbai as of now; let us see where that takes me. I do believe that there are no barriers in the field of art and I would like to give Bollywood a shot too”, she said.
