Pushkar Mallikarjunaiah’s Next To Be Helmed By Karthik Saragur

Karthik Saragur penned the story and screenplay for the children film ‘Jeer Jimbe’, which won three awards in the Karnataka State film Awards. The latest we hear is that Karthik is all set to wield the megaphone for producer Pushkar Mallikarjunaiah’s next film. The producer debuted with ‘Godhi Banna Sadharana Mykattu’ and bought a stake of 30 percent in ‘Kirik Party’ under his banner Pushkar Films. Both the films went on to become blockbusters last year.

Now that the two acclaimed filmmakers are all set to join, we can expect something really big in the near future. Pushkar announced the deets of the upcoming project through a post on his social networking page. The producer wrote “Our Lovely Actors of Next Movie Aravinnd Iyer, Aarohi Narayan, Vijay Chendoor and #Aadhya Excited about going on floor from Next month, Director- Karthik Saragur Music - Charan Raj".

In addition, Pushkar revealed that Aravinnd Iyer was initially considered to play the male lead in ‘Godhi Banna Sadharana Mykattu’. However, Rakshit Shetty was roped in due to some reasons. Director Hemanth Rao suggested Aravinnd for ‘Kirik Party’, which was indeed a major breakthrough for him. On a related note, Pushkar-Karthik’s project is slated for a December release and is expected to go on floors from May.
