New Face Akhila Prakash Makes Kannada Film Industry Refreshing
Updated : August 09, 2017 03:49 PM IST Actress Akhila Prakash, who recently started her journey into Sandalwood, is awaiting the release of a few films in Telugu and Kannada including ‘Olu Muniswamy’, which is a Kannada project. The actress will be seen playing a married village girl in the flick. Till now the Mysuru girl has so far been seen in only glamorous avatars. Olu Muniswamy will also mark the 50th film of the multi-talented film personality Kashinath.
The 25-year-old actress said that her love for films started when she was in primary school. Her parents encouraged her passion for acting. Working with Kashinath made her realise that people misapprehend his films for its double-entendre dialogues. The actress further said, “After working with Kashinath Sir, wherein he plays an important role, I realised that he is one of the greatest actors. His emotions, both on and off screen speak volumes of his experience. All his films have a great message, and I am glad that I had the opportunity to share the screen with him at such an early stage in my career”.
In fact, Akhila wants to have challenging roles on her plate. Being a sporty person, she said that during the shooting of the film she enjoyed horse riding and travelling to different places. The budding actress disclosed that she also played volleyball and represented the state during her student life.
