‘I Am Confident Chakravyuha Will Do For Me In Kannada’: Arun Vijay
Updated : April 28, 2016 03:44 PM IST Arun Vijay is not only excited but is also confident about his upcoming Kannada thriller film Chakravyuha. The actor compared the movie with ‘Yennai Arindal’ and said, “I just wanted to explore a role in another language because as an actor in Tamil Nadu, we need to have a market all over South. I did get offers before from other regions, but this was a role in whcih I could prove my versatility. What Yennai Arindal did for me in Tamil, I am confident Chakravyuha will do for me in Kannada”.
Talking about Puneeth Rajkumar, who helped him bag this role, the actor said, “Since our fathers were actors, we felt we have known each other for a long time and it helped us build a good rapport. We complemented each other well, especially in action sequences and that would be something which everyone can look forward to in Chakravyuha. Our best comes out only when we work against a talented actor and Puneeth helped me that way”.
About his experience of working in Sandalwood, Arun said, “Back home, it was said that Kannada is a bit laid-back industry because of the small market. This film actually proved it wrong. There were neither barriers nor budget constraints. It was a quality film”. He added that he has given his best to the role and is waiting for audience’s response now.
