Darshan To Plays This Epic Character In His 50th Film

Darshan Thoogudeep made his debut 2001 super-hit Majestic. The film fared well at the box-office and Darshan became a star in the Sandalwood. As the actor is nearing his 50th movie, fans are excited about it. The last we heard about the actor was he has decided to give his remuneration from his 50th movie to his childhood friends. Well, we have something more about his 50^th movie.

It was earlier rumoured that his 50th movie Sarwantharyami will be helmed by his brother Dinakar Togudeepa. However, things didn’t work out and now director Tarun Sudhir was finalized to direct the movie. Tarun Sudhir also directed the movie Chowka. Seems like, Tarun is also out of the picture as director Naganna of Krantiveera Sangolli Rayanna fame will helm the actor’s 50^th flick.

The news has been officially announced. Titled as  Kurukshetra, the film will saw Darshan playing the role of Duryodhana. Naganna said, "Yes, it is Darshan's 50th film and it will see him playing Duryodhana. We've still finalizing the rest of the casting. We can also confirm that Ambareesh will be playing Bheeshma in the film". Fans will have to wait for some time to see Darshan in this avatar as he will start shooting for the film after he completes filming Taarak.
