New Assassin’s Creed Photos Released

Total Film has released new images of the upcoming video game adaptation ‘Assassin’s Creed’. The movie stars Michael Fassbender as the protagonist. The project has been based on the famous Ubisoft game by the same name, though, it does not follow the same story line.

Michael plays the role of Callum Lynch who is made part of a project that unlocks his genetic memories. He then experiences 15th Century Spain through his ancestor Aguilar. Callum finds out that he is the descendent of a mysterious secret society, the Assassins, who are trying to save the world from the Templar organisation.

The cast for ‘Assassin’s Creed’ includes Marion Cotillard, Michael K. Williams, Brendan Gleeson and Jeremy Irons. The movie is being directed by Justin Kurzel who has previously worked with both Michael and Marion in ‘Macbeth’. ‘Assassin’s Creed’ will hit the screens on December 21, clashing with Chris Pratt and Jennifer Lawrence’s ‘Passengers’.
