Natalie Portman Talks About Jackie
Updated : October 18, 2016 04:00 PM IST Natalie Portman plays US President John F. Kennedy’s wife in the upcoming film ‘Jackie’. The actress recently revealed that she used the 2015 terror attacks in Paris, France to bring out the emotion she needed for the film. In November last year, the Paris nightclub bombings shocked and scarred everybody.
The actress began shooting for the film a week after the attacks happened. “Of course I've mourned and grieved through my life so I could bring some of that which doesn't include the horror and violence of what she lived through”, shared Natalie. She added that the studio they filmed in was where the terrorists had come from.
The V for Vendetta actress also shared that the place was under lock down and police were stationed everywhere. What happened in Paris “was a collective tragedy and a collective mourning”, said the actress. Directed by Pablo Larraín, ‘Jackie’ will be released on December 2. The cast also includes Peter Sarsgaard, Billy Crudup, John Hurt and Greta Gerwig.
