Milla Jovovich Bags Action-Thriller Hummingbird, Replaces Olivia Munn

Actress Milla Jovovich is all set to be seen in the action-thriller Hummingbird, which is based on John McClain’s Black List script. Earlier it was reported that actress Olivia Munn would play the role of a black-ops assassin. However, Milla Jovovich has recently bagged the role in place of the actress.

Moreover, the reason for the replacement is yet unknown. But on February 7^th, the makers of the film said that Hummingbird will be in the vein of Lucy and the Jason Bourne film franchise. The production work for the film will go on floors during summer this year. The film is going to be directed by Marcus Kryler and Fredrik Akerstrom, who had earlier helmed Battlefield 1.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Jovovich starred in the popular Resident Evil movies as Alice in all the six instalments. She has recently completed shooting for her upcoming film Hellboy and will be seen in Rob Reiner’s political drama Shock and Awe. The film will also have Woody Harrelson and Tommy Lee Jones in the lead roles.
