Jason Clarke To Come On Board For 'First Man'

The NASA drama is a biopic on Neil Armstrong, the first person to land on the moon. 'La La Land' actor Ryan Gosling will essay the role of Neil Armstrong, while Corey Stoll will play astronaut Buzz Aldrin, the second person to go on the moon.
And now we have heard that actor Jason Clarke has also been approached to star in the Neil Armstrong biopic. He will play the role of Ed White, who was the first American to walk into space. Damien and Ryan have also produced the movie along with Godfrey and Marty Bowen through their banner Temple Hill Entertainment.
The movie which has been scripted by Josh Singer will focus on the years 1961-1969. It is an adaptation of Neil Armstrong’s biography ‘First Man: The Life of Neil A Armstrong' written by James R Hansen. Apart from Ryan, Ed and Buzz, the flick will also star Kyle Chandler. It is slated to release on October 12, 2018.
