The Hulk Supporting Bihar Solar Project

He may be smashing tanks and planes and bringing down giant space creatures but deep down, the Hulk cares. Known for his role as the giant green monster, actor Mark Ruffalo has shown his support towards the Bihar Solar Project. The aim of this project is to educate people on the pros of renewable energy and make them adopt the sustainable and renewable resources.

The 47 year old actor tweeted in favour of the project and the state, and said, “I’m 100% New York, but I’m also 100% Bihar. #SolarBihar @100isNow”. The tweet was shared by actor Aditi Rao Hydari on Sunday. Bollywood personalities including Manoj Bajpayee, Sanjay Mishra, Vinay Pathak, Swara Bhaskar, Meiyang Chang and Neetu Chandra have also supported on twitter.

The project #SolarBihar is a part of an NGO, The Solar Village Project. The NGO is on a mission to help the Indian and African families in improving their quality of life. They want to provide the access, acquisition, maintenance and knowledge of solar power systems to the families and individuals, especially in the homes with no source of power.
