Grand Opening For Kung Fu Panda 3

The fluffy panda Po has come back with a bang for the third instalment in the animated Kung Fu Panda series. The movie has topped the weekend box office list with its $41 million opening. Jack Black returns as the voice of Po along with Angelina Jolie, Jackie Chan, Seth Rogen, Lucy Liu and David Cross voicing the furious five.

Leonardo DiCaprio’s The Revenant added another $12 million to its earning running on its sixth weekend. The movie has now made $274 million worldwide. Looks like Star Wars: The Force Awakens is shooting for the best movie of all time title. Pooling in $10 million on its seventh weekend, the movie has now grossed $1.98 billion worldwide.

Recently released The Finest Hours starring Chris Pine and Casey Affleck opened with $10.3 million. The last on the top five list was Kevin Hart and Ice Cube’s Ride Along 2. Running on its third weekend, the movie raked in $8.3 million making a total worldwide earning of $88.5 million.
