David Ayer Interested In Making Suicide Squad Sequel

The highly anticipated superhero flick, ‘Suicide Squad’, will be hitting the screens on August 5 in the U.S. The movie has been directed by David Ayer, who loves the characters involved so much that he wants to make a sequel. The movie brings together a rag-tag group of dysfunctional criminals to fight crime.

According to Deadline, the director shared, “Look, it’s definitely the devil’s candy. I love high-stakes situations and I love the movie family we put together. I love this cast and I really love the world. I think it would be a lot of fun”. David also stated that he believes in audience testing and that after the mixed response that Batman v Superman got, audience testing has made Suicide Squad a lot better.

The movie will star Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Will Smith as Deadshot, Jared Leto as The Joker, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje as Killer Croc, Jai Courtney as Captain Boomerang, among others. Ben Affleck will also be reprising his role as Batman. The trailers for the film look promising and the fans are quite hyped for the release.
