Ben Stiller likely to control wheels for ‘The Current War’

Actor Ben Stiller was lately reported to be a part of ‘I Am Chippendales’, where he will be enacting Nick DeNoia and now it is heard that the actor might helm upcoming drama ‘The Current War’. The actor is in discussions with The Weinstein Company but they haven’t reached to any conclusion so far.

The film based on two electricity titans Thomas Edison and George Westinghouse, summarises the story of the competition between them to develop a sustainable system and market it to the American people. The cast is to be decided on and the financing of the same is promised by Steve Zaillian and Garrett Basch of Film Rites and Timur Bekmambetov. No more information is yet exposed. Stiller is right now filming for Night at the Museum 3 and While We're Young.
