Zero Movie Story - Bauua Singh Height & VFX Cost, Budget in Zero
Updated : December 20, 2018 06:33 PM ISTShah Rukh Khan starrer Zero is all set for a theatrical release and there is a lot of curiosity in the fans as to what direction the story of the film is going to take. Zero’s Film story is about a 38 year old man who is vertically challenged from Meerut and believes in living life king size. Bauua Singh (SRK) is romantic who is looking for the love of his life and gets his hands on a picture of Aafia Yusufzai Bhinder (Anushka Sharma) a NASA scientist. But what Baua Singh doesn’t realize is that Aafia is suffering from with cerebral palsy. On meeting Aafia he is a taken a back slightly but he manages to convince her that he fell in love with her overnight and the two are to get married.
Baua Singh’s life turns around when he meets his favorite movie star Babita Kumari (Katrina Kaif) and in her drunken meeting she kisses him. This puts his relationship with Aafia to test and leads to a situation where both women leave him. Baua then has to prove that his worth and love for the woman of his life and to prove that his heart is in the right place, he is even willing to go to the moon for real.
Zero was conceived by director Anand L. Rai in 2012 who wanted to make the film only with Salman Khan. Shah Rukh Khan was cast as the lead actor in 2016.
The film is the biggest budget Shah Rukh Khan film till date and has been made at a cost of 200 crores with only the VFX costing over 70 crores. Shah Rukh Khan’s transformation into a vertically challenged man was all impressive VFX work. The film has over 5000 VFX shots which is even greater than Bahubali.
Shah Rukh Khan whose height in real life is 5 feet 8 inches has been portrayed as a character who is 1.5 feet shorter than his real persona. There have been many special VFX techniques that have helped to make this drastic, difference evident on screen.
Zero releases in theatres on 21 December 2018, and stars Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif as the leading ladies in the film. The film has been directed by Anand L. Rai and been produced by Gauri Khan and Red Chillies Entertainment.
